A Feature Length Documentary about Electronic Music?

Electronic music is a genre of underground culture that is not quite understood, and had not truly been documented, until now!

A documentary is currently in the works that will take you inside the restless nights of club kids partying non-stop to the dynamic sounds of amazing, yet sometimes unknown DJ's. You will also venture to Florida for WMC, where thousands of party people have flocked for the past 22 years, to take in some of the greatest turntablists from around the world!

This feature length documentry is compiled from over 200 hours of footage from raves and parties from well over the last decade!

This documentary brings you underground to the nocturnal culture that embraces Electronic Music. You will experience party and club culture from New Zealand and Miami to Seattle, and everywhere else in between.

Packed with performances and interviews from world renowned turntablists, including John Digweed and Paul Van Dyk, and all thier raving fans.

Before wrapping production, the film crew will head back to Miami in late March 2007, for the Winter Music Conference They will capture HD footage of some of electronic music's biggest talent and get you inside access to the hard working promoters behind the curtains of the WMC, Winter Music Conference.

During production at WMC, these film makers will tie up the loose ends to complete this documentary. This includes coverage and interviews of big name turntablists, and Producers like Carl Cox, BT and Donald Glaude. The film crew will also be filming the DJs sets, the party environment, and glimpse into the everyday life of your favorite DJs. This film crew will bring you this amazing story of electronic and dance music history directly to you.

This documentary is being made by working film makers, with each crew member a professional in their area of expertise.

The lead sound mixer/engineer, Bruce Lee, brings 20 years of experience as a radio personality and sound engineer and has won best sound design on a number of short films. The Lead Director of Photography, Shawn Anderson, has worked on network television shows, feature films, narratives, commercials and documentaries.

The second team sound mixer/engineer's recent work is called Do it For Johnny, which is, currently being premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival and Vail Film Festival. The second team Director of Photography, teaches film at Palm Beach School and has been Director of Photography on over 20 productions.

Jason Boritz is the producer of this documentary, and is putting the finishing touches on over 10 years of work. After producing and directing several music videos (set to release in 2007), Jason is now taking his love for electronic music and film and connecting them to form an amazing perspective into the world of electronic music.
